About Botulinum toxin therapy (using Botox®)
Botox injections are small injections given into areas of the face to relax and soften certain muscle groups. They work to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines and can also be used to alter the position of facial features (e.g. treating a gummy smile or producing a mild brow lift). The effects last up to 3-4 months.
