About Chemical peels

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face. A solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and sometimes peel off. New, regenerated skin is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. It is also very useful for controlling acne and treating the small scars associated with severe acne.

  • Neostrata peel system – we use the Neostrata Prosystem peel range as a superficial peel to address the common skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, skin discoloration, sun damage, and acne-prone skin. An initial course of 3-6 peels, 4 weeks apart is recommended with maintenance every few months thereafter.

About LED therapy

LED therapy is a form of phototherapy that uses a light-energy device to repair and replenish the skin by stimulating cells to repair and produce collagen, and also destroy acne-causing bacteria.

A typical course consists of 12 sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, over 1 month (3 sessions per week).

  • Anti-ageing mode – to treat fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture

  • Acne mode – to treat and control breakouts of acne and reduce the scarring effects of acne

  • Can also be used post-procedure with chemical peels, microneedling, injectables etc to reduce inflammation.

  • Painless, no downtime, sessions last up to 30 minutes.
